History
Late Mr. Poonamchand M Ostawal, had sound background and support of family, which is into the cotton trading from many decades. His strong experience of 40 years into cotton ginning and pressing business helped establishing Cotseeds group in the cotton industry. As a promoter of the business, he had developed good relations for raw cotton procurement and selling of final product of cotton bale to its customers.
Mr. Shantilal M Ostawal, being a Commerce graduate comes from a family, which is into the cotton trading from many decades. As a promoter has developed teams and relationships to procure Kapas/Cotton from the growers and APMCs yards, ginning and pressing the same at own and various ginning factories and selling it to textile mills all over North and South India. He stepped into the family business since 1981 in the name of Cotseeds Corporation. With his experience, family support and good rapport with textile mills he has transformed business with high growth rate.
Mr. Jinduth P Ostawal, technically strong has done his diploma in Textiles from prestigious institute that is South India Textile Research Association, Coimbatore. He has experience of 20 year in the cotton trading field and comes from the cotton trading family from many decades. He stepped into the family business since 1999 in the name of Cotseeds Corporation. With his experience, family support and good rapport with textile mills he has been able to grow its business and has been responsible for starting Cotseeds Udyog in different states of India.
Mr. Shripal S Ostawal, being a second generation Entrepreneur, has completed his Bachelors of Business Administration and Post Graduation (M.B.A). Over the time has developed skills in organizing, managing, strategy planning and assumes the risks of a business.
What we do
As the critical link between raw cotton producers and its downstream customers (the textile mill), the cotton ginning plant shoulders a great responsibility to do everything it can to maintain the cotton’s quality parameters. Since our inception we have been striving for our unique goal to provide quality full pressed cotton bales to our esteemed client in spinning & textile mills with highest grade of quality at competitive price to both our domestic and global customers.
With our overall art of providing clean cotton and ginning best practices within our activities, the only thing that is constant is the permanent need for change. As a result we have inculcated practice of grading the row cotton during unloading by checking all the parameters to decide type of conditioning required before ginning.
As part of our perseverance to achieve highest quality cotton over the years and with our empirical experience we have got seed cotton conditioning and pre-cleaning systems designed with flexibility in mind to allow conditioning and processing as required to facilitate removal of immature fibers, contamination, trash and at the same time retaining the cotton’s key quality parameters. In addition we have post gin cleaning system for low density contents like fly fiber.
Our entire above process from ginning to pressing of cotton bale at all our unit is totally automated hence reducing human intervention and thus further reducing the contamination to the minimum extent. To further provide transparency and support our quality work, we provide test results with length, strength, micronaire, color grade and trash level to our esteemed customers to choose best suited cotton for their requirement and higher yarn realization.
